Fair questions, straight answers

Twelve: Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Telegram, X, Threads, Bluesky, Discord, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit, each written to its own rules rather than one caption pasted twelve times. Your plan sets how many you connect (2, 6 or 12). Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, X and Threads can't be connected yet; your Connections page shows what you can connect today. YouTube isn't here because Occasely publishes text and image posts, not video, and WhatsApp is messaging rather than posting.

Occasely Engage answers Instagram comments, DMs and story replies for you. Someone comments a keyword like PRICE and gets your link in a private DM; a DM or a story reply can do the same. On Growth and Pro, replies can also ask for an email or phone number and save it as a lead, links count their clicks, and an AI answers questions from your own knowledge base and sends anything it isn't sure about to you. It's in early access for a first group of workspaces, and opens to every plan after that.

No. You sign in on Instagram's own screen and approve the permissions it lists; Occasely gets a token, which is encrypted at rest. Automation needs an Instagram Business or Creator account and runs only through the official Meta API, with no scraping and no browser bots. Meta's rules are built in: one private reply per comment, within 7 days of it; DMs only within 24 hours of the customer's last message; and a business never messages anyone first. A cooldown per person, a day by default, stops anyone getting the same reply over and over.

Writing is unlimited on Growth and Pro, so regenerate as often as it takes to sound like you. Free includes 10 AI generations a month, and every AI action counts as one: a post written, a rewrite, a set of hashtags or an image. Occasion campaigns: 2 a month on Growth and unlimited on Pro; Free doesn't include them. AI images and Instagram automation also have monthly allowances, because each one costs real money to run. AI images: up to 5, 100 or 250 a month by plan (HD counts as 2, Preserve detail as 4, and a failed render is refunded). Instagram automation, in early access: 200, 2,000 or 10,000 automated messages a month, with up to 500 or 3,000 AI-written replies on Growth and Pro. Hit a limit and that feature stops until next month; you're never billed extra.

Posts: never. Nothing publishes until you approve it, and an AI agent connected over MCP can only leave drafts. Google review replies: never; the AI drafts and you press publish. Instagram automations are the one exception, by design: once you switch one on, it replies for you with the words, links and knowledge base you gave it, and complaints, refunds and returns come to you instead of the AI. You can pause any automation at any time.

You can, and plenty of businesses do. The difference is that here they share one brain. The brand kit from your website shapes every post, image and AI reply; the occasion calendar decides what gets planned; and it's one login and one bill. As Engage opens, the comment automation attaches to the post you just scheduled. If you only need one of those jobs, a single-purpose tool may suit you better.

Images, yes; video, no. Image generation paints the background scene, then sets your logo, headline and offer on top in code, so the words are spelled exactly and the colors stay yours. Product Studio turns a photo of a garment or a piece of jewelry into an on-model or styled shot, and labels every render with a generated person “AI model”. Images come from a monthly allowance: up to 5 on Free, 100 on Growth and 250 on Pro.

Not yet: connecting a Google Business Profile opens once Google approves our Business Profile API access. When it does, Occasely will bring your reviews into one list, unanswered first, and check for new ones once a day. The AI will draft a short reply in your voice (two or three sentences, never arguing, never promising a refund, discount or callback you haven't offered), and nothing will be posted until you press publish.

Eighteen, including Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Filipino, Hindi, Bengali and Tamil — written natively in each, in the register a shop owner actually uses, not machine-translated. That includes the mixed registers people really sell in, like Hinglish.

It publishes. Approve a post and Occasely puts it out at its slot on every connected channel. The queue is durable, so a scheduled post survives a deploy or a restart. A failed send retries up to 3 times, a send that might already have gone through is never retried so nothing posts twice, and you're told when something needs you instead of finding out from an empty feed.

Your channel tokens are encrypted at rest, and you can disconnect any channel at any time. Occasely connects through each platform's own sign-in, or a bot token, webhook or app password you can revoke, so it never sees your account passwords. TikTok, Reddit and some Pinterest connections are made through our publishing partner Zernio, which holds that connection and publishes on our instruction. Delete your account and your data is purged after a 30-day grace period.

Yes. Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Windsurf and other MCP apps connect with a key from Settings. An agent can read your channels, occasions, drafts and delivery numbers, and queue draft posts. It can't publish, schedule a live send or spend your image allowance; you approve every draft in the calendar.

Anywhere. The occasion calendar covers festivals, holidays and shopping moments worldwide — Diwali and Black Friday are the same feature — and billing is in USD everywhere, with sales tax, VAT or GST handled for your market at checkout.
