Single image posts

Built to post a photo with your caption to your Instagram feed through the official API, and hand back the live post link, once Meta approves our app.

Captions written for Instagram

AI drafts a first-line hook, emotive visual wording, and 8 to 15 hashtags, kept within Instagram's 2200 character caption limit.

Retries when Meta wobbles

If Instagram is rate-limiting or still processing your image, Occasely retries automatically and tells you in plain words when something needs fixing.

Written for Instagram, not pasted into it

The AI already knows Instagram's own rules, ready for when the channel opens:

Open with a hook in the very first line, since feeds truncate captions.
Write in emotive, visual language your customer can picture.
End with 8 to 15 relevant hashtags, not more.
Keep captions under 2200 characters; anything longer gets trimmed.

Questions shop owners ask

When can I connect Instagram?

Instagram publishing is built and waiting on Meta's app review. Until it's approved only test accounts can connect.

What exactly gets published to Instagram?

A single photo with a caption, posted through Instagram's official API. Captions are trimmed to 2200 characters and the image should be a JPEG under 8 MB.

Can it post Reels, Stories, or videos?

Not today. Occasely supports image posts only. If a scheduled post has no image it will not go out; we flag it so you can attach one and reschedule.
