Occasely for X
Coming soonX posts, written the way X reads
Occasely writes your occasion posts to X's 280-character shape, ready to publish on schedule once X opens on Occasely.
X publishing is built, but X isn't open for connection on Occasely yet.
Built for X's official API
Once X opens on Occasely, you connect your account once and scheduled posts go out through X's official API, with an optional image and a link to the live post.
Written to 280, not trimmed to 280
The same occasion brief that writes your Instagram caption writes a separate X post built for the limit from the start — one idea, front-loaded, at most two hashtags.
The same schedule and retries as everything else
X sits on the same calendar as every other channel you connect. Every publish attempt is logged, and a failure tells you what X actually said.
Written for X, not pasted into it
The AI already knows X's own rules, ready for when the channel opens:
- One idea per post, said in the fewest words that still land it.
- Front-load the point; the first line is all most people read.
- Two hashtags at most, and only when they're genuinely searched.
- Stay inside 280 characters rather than splitting into a thread.

Worth knowing before you connect
280 characters is a hard stop
A post over the limit is rejected before it reaches X, with the character count in the failure reason, rather than published truncated. Shorten it and reschedule.
X can still throttle posting
X rate-limits bursts of posting. If X refuses a post for rate limits, it fails with X's own reason and retries; it is not silently dropped.
Single posts only
One post with an optional image. No threads, polls, video, quote-posts or replies.
Questions shop owners ask
Can Occasely post to X for me?
Not yet. X publishing is built: posts are written to 280 characters and go out through X's official API with an optional image. X isn't open for connection yet, and a Connect X button appears on your Connections page when it is.
What happens if a caption is over 280 characters?
The post fails before it reaches X and the calendar tells you the exact character count. Nothing is published half-finished and nothing is truncated for you — you decide what to cut.
Will X ever refuse a post?
Occasionally. X rate-limits posting, and if it refuses one the post fails with X's own reason and retries rather than disappearing quietly.
Does the same brief write my other channels too?
Yes — that is the point. One occasion brief produces an X post, an Instagram caption, a Google Business update and the rest, each written to its own platform's rules rather than copy-pasted.
